After over a year of operations as a mobile bookstore, Lost The Plot is opening a brick-and-mortar storefront!
Located just outside the main downtown Everett corridor, we’re setting up shop in the historical Diefenbacher building on Hewitt Ave.
We’re excited to expand and take our commitment to uplifting underrepresented voices to the next level, as well as host more of the community events you’ve come to know and love!
Our grand opening date is TBD, but we’re aiming for early November 2026.

Mobile Bookstore
Our mobile bookstore sells new & used adult fiction, prioritizing stories by and about underrepresented voices.
Step inside our truck to find it full of incredible stories, many of which are written by marginalized voices such as authors who are BIPOC, queer, disabled, or some intersection of these. You can find us popped up all around the Puget Sound area, ranging from Everett to Tacoma, and as far out East as Issaquah.
In addition to selling books, we host bookish social events around the region, such as Book Swap & Sips; Books, Brews, & Tattoos; Bookish Bazaar; and so much more.
