How The Book Swap Works
Our book swaps are all about the cozy, casual vibes. They're designed to feel like a social event where you just happen to be surrounded by books. Here's how it works:
Bring 1–3 gently pre-loved books you’ve already read or are ready to pass along. Any genre is welcome! The only rule: bring books in good condition (something you’d feel good lending to a friend).
When you arrive, drop your books at the swap table (look for signage!), then grab a drink, browse, and start picking your next read.
To keep it fair, please take home the same number of books you brought. In the last hour, we’ll open it up to grab extras from what’s left. Most books** left over after the event get distributed to little free libraries around the area.
*Please bring books in good condition (something you’d feel good lending to a friend). Do not bring books that are falling apart, as this isn't fair for the other attendees. Also, we recommend leaving your Colleen Hoover books and Fifty Shades books at home or donating them elsewhere. Thank you!

How Book Club Works:
We'll meet once a month at 6:30pm to chat about the previous month's book.
Once the book has been chosen, that title will be 20% off through Lost The Plot both in-person and online (using code BOOKCLUB on select titles), or you can subscribe to our Fantasy book club subscription box to get it delivered straight to your door (discount & shipping included).
When it's time to meet, head to Old Stove Gardens and look for the signs for the book club! From 6:30-7:00, take time to get settled, get your drinks/food, and mingle with other book club members.
From 7:00 for about 45-60 minutes, we'll chat about the book and everyone will get a chance to share their thoughts.
Once the book discussion is over, you're welcome to stay and mingle or head home for the night!
